4th Conference"Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa"

On 29 October 2015, the University of Cape Coast in collaboration with the University of Nairobi and the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, organized the project’s yearly conference. The conference was held under the topic “Promoting sustainable enterprise development in Africa: The role of industry-academia partnership”. Around 200 visitors attended the conference and the industry fair, which was running on campus from 28 – 29 October and presented local firms from the Cape Coast region.
The conference theme was structured into the following subthemes:
- Business and entrepreneurship in Africa
- Entrepreneurial education for employment and economic growth
- African business in, and trade with, Germany and Europe
- Health, social protection and productivity
- Intercultural challenges in the collaboration between Africa and Europe
- University teaching and research development in Africa
- Sustainable/Responsible business
