The 11th conference on “Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa” took place online on 8th and 9th November 2023. The conference was organized by the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and was part of the cooperation between the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. The cooperation was  financed by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and administrated by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The project is conducted through the Hochschule Bonn- Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in Germany and the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.

The conference continued the successful tradition of the previous years and provided a unique platform in Germany, allowing the exchange among businesses and between industry and academia from Europe and Africa. The conference highlighted the issues entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Africa, market entry and market development in Africa, international business between Germany and Africa, as well as enterprise development and the training and recruitment of qualified personnel. Consideration were given especially for the opportunities of networking between universities and businesses.
